Joetta Aaron is a writer and Language Arts teacher. She began writing as a hobby, but decided to increase her knowledge of the different writing genres. She received a Bachelor’s degree in English with a minor in Creative Writing. Currently, she is pursuing a Master’s of Fine Arts in Creative Writing. While working on her Undergraduate Degree at the University of North Florida, her love for writing intensified when she took her first fiction writing class. She utilizes the skills learned to create inspirational quotes and short stories. Her writing focuses on familial drama, action, and suspense. She also incorporates creative writing, oral, and written communication skills in the workplace.

Joetta enjoys writing stories that entertain but makes the readers consciously aware of issues that are often not addressed. She also writes poetry and once performed Spoken Word at an open mic event. While attending the University of North Florida she performed the spotlight monologue in the 2011 production of Eve Ensler’s The Vagina Monologues.
